Oops.  Gotta love windstorms.

Bulb Planting

Planted Crocus, Muscari, and Daffodil bulbs.  Then the critters got to them and either moved or ate them!  Pretty much nothing came stayed where I put it.

Every morning for several days, came out to find a pile of shredded bulb wrappings.

The daffodil bulbs were sometimes dug up, but moved into a pile under a tree, nowhere near where they were planted.

Whole bunch of crocus were planted here.  Two came up. The rest were eaten!

Big rhodie

Added this rhodie to give us privacy in back. Before, the backdoor neighbors were constantly at eye-level with me on my back patio, where I want to sit and relax in private. Not watch her wash the dishes, or see them come out on their deck, right over the fence.  Their house is a tri-level and the main living area puts their eyes right over the fence. Taller fences aren't allowed; we explored doing it anyway under who-is-going-to-care rules, and turns out neighbors didn't want an 8' fence. Guess they like being watched all the time too. Huh. 

Anyway, big pretty rhodie! Thank you Scott who finds and installs these big things for us!
