Losing trees. :-(
Disaster... the neighbors are cutting down two mature douglas fir trees. They say they are diseased, and three tree companies agreed they had to go.

Seeing first perennials
Tiny brunnera, hardy geranium, and vancouveria leaves are poking through! So strange to see their distinctive leaves in miniature!
