Crocus!

Crocus

Astilbe are growing in
Hellebore

beautiful hellebores
Nodding hellebores, can see the geranium mourning widow behind already well started, and a random bulb - I think muscari - that was never planted there!

Love these crocus

Daffodils! Too bad the camera blew them out, they're a beautiful color. But none of the other daffodils are anywhere near this point yet.
Croccus and snowdrop against hebe

Daffodils in the woods, on the other hand, are looking pretty spindly. I'm not sure they loved it back here. Might be too much shade.

All the tulips are growing well... hope they bloom!  They are fancy tulips I wasn't expecting to get back.

Feb 21 and 19

Almost open

So close

From Feb 19:

Hellebores planted last year look happy

Need to trim the old leaves.  See the tiny one on the left trying to hang on?

Pretty sure the daffodils are spreading. :-)

Flower Show finds

Hebe growing fast now, overtaking the snowdrops

Original hellebore

Under scraggly rhodie, dog keeps running over it

No idea what bulb that is off to the left. I didn't plant one there.

new peony

Itoh peony and three Siberian iris

Bartzella - yellow - I'm afraid I might have damaged it while planting, not sure. The main part of the root is cleaved almost but not quite in two. Might have been that way due to compression in the bag, though.

Also moved the hellebores and the middle blueberry; they were too crowded.
