Three new King Edward from Gray Barn. I don't usually like soldiering them up on a line, but they get tall and fit better behind the blueberries rather than closer in. I expect they'll like it there getting spring sun but less direct sun in summer, and probably be quite tall in a year or two. I thought about putting one between the Pacific wax myrtle and the vine maple, but the pwm would just overwhelm it soon and I want to let it continue to get wide, so I didn't. I'll stick with alliums and Crocosmia there for now, and mix those in in front of the new red flowering currant as well. I think I like the combo of alliums and Crocosmia - both tall, leafy, pretty flowers, but first one, then the other. The Crocosmia hung around til fall last year....Hope they come back and do again!
